Mellowstones is a comfortable and well furnished detached 3 bedroom cottage, with a master bedroom ensuite and separate family bathroom. Plenty of parking, pet friendly, and around the corner from a traditional village pub, The Bakers Arms. There are plenty of wonderful footpaths, with stunning views, just moments from the cottage.

Situated just a mile from Chipping Campden High Street, Mellowstones is a short walk (or drive) away from cafes, restaurants and shops. Mellowstones also has its own private, off-road parking for up to 4 cars.

Accommodation

The front door opens into the hallway with stairs to first first floor and doors to the cloakroom, living room and kitchen.

There is a well equipped kitchen with all you could need during your stay, including a built-in electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The washer/dryer is situated in the understairs cupboard on the ground floor.

The open-plan living and dining room is a spacious area with 2 large comfy 2 large 3-seater sofas, a Smart TV and an attractive coal-effect electric fire. There is also a dining table with 6 chairs.

The master bedroom benefits from a super-king size bed, with a built-in triple wardrobe, bedside tables, dressing table and chest of drawers. The ensuite has a shower cubicle, toilet, sink with vanity unit, and a mirror with light over. There is also a large window with lovely views across the fields.

The double bedroom benefits from a king-size bed, bedside tables, two chests of drawers, and a large window overlooking the garden.

The third bedroom has a single bed, chest of drawers and a bedside table. There is a pull-out trundle underneath the single bed to make a comfortable king-size bed.

At the front of Mellowstones, there is off road parking for up to 4 vehicles.

To the rear is a small garden with access through a side gate to the rear garden

3 nights are charged at 80% of the full weeks rental

4 nights are charged at 85% of the full weeks rental

5 nights are charged at 90% of the full weeks rental

6 nights are charged at 95% of the full weeks rental

30% deposit of rental rate for full weeks booked (40% Xmas / New Year)

Remaining balance is due 8 weeks before the start of your holiday (12 weeks for a let over 3 weeks)

50% payment is required for short breaks

Refundable damages deposits are charged at some cottages

Where there are pen fires or log burners, a basket of logs is included in the price – more logs available for a reasonable charge

The cottage has full central heating with the benefit of a log effect gas fire in the living room.

Cottage was nice, clean and warm. Nice pub 4 doors down. This cottage is a short walk from Chipping Campden’s High Street. We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Perfect Cotswold stay! – 5/5

I stayed at Mellowstones for a week before moving into my home in the UK. It’s as pretty as the pictures look. The location is perfect for walks to Chipping Campden nearby and dog walks down the road. I work from home so I can verify the WiFi is fantastic for zoom meetings but slower for any YouTube uploads if you need that. The master bedroom has a fantastic super king-size bed which is important since you want that comfort! The other rooms were perfectly decorated too, which we used as dressing rooms. The garden is tiny, and not much sunlight hits that part so we didn’t really use it, however the rest of the house and the front of the house is beautiful and made up for it. Needless to say Andy and Sarah are fantastic hosts and were very responsive to any request we had!

Super nice cottage on the heart of the Cotswolds! 

We spent 3 days in 7 and it was perfect. A cosy living room, 3 nice bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a nice little garden. All the main villages were very close. Perfect location to explore the surroundings.
